I'm still here in the province. And so far, I am enjoying my stay.
I've gotten quite used to not using the PC the entire day. (Maximum of 2 hours a day... don't I deserve a round of applause? LOL)
And I am now getting used to cable-less television.
I cannot believe they are actually showing some pretty good stuff on Studio23 and QTV.
I am enjoying the animes being shown on ABC5. Mapagta-tiyagaan ko na yung dubbing ng Code Geass since CODE GEASS naman siya. ^^
I'm also developing a bonding schedule with my cousin. Usually, her daughter (and my inaanak) sleeps at around 6:30 PM, about time for our dinner and daily dose of news. Afterwards, we watch Darna.
Hm, matagal na panahon na ang lumipas nung huli akong naka-appreciate ng local show. (Encantadia days pa. ^^)

My life's been a rollercoaster of emotions the past few weeks, mostly because I'm trying to deal with a burnout long overdue. One year's worth of burnout is not going away on its own. Although I cherish the fact that there are several people that I can talk to to relieve some of the stress, it's not enough. Being holed up in my room and pulling a "hikkikomori" did not help; in fact, I felt the more negative hikkikomori effects taking over my life (going psycho on your family, for one) so I did what I felt was the right thing to do... escape to the province.
Now, I'm in front of my cousin's PC, feeling strangely comforted that this isn't my laptop and I'm not allowed to hog it all night. I guess that's 1 attachment down? ^^
Trying to figure out what one wants to do is not easy, but I'm hoping the few weeks that I'll be here would at least point me to some (right) direction. Minna-san, please pray for me... doumo!
